CS 1.6 with bots — in the browser, straight into the game
No waiting for players: on servers with bots they fill the teams and leave as soon as people join.
How bots work
A bot server has a number: bots fill it up to that many players including humans. For example, “bots up to 10” — you plus nine bots; when a second person joins there are eight bots.
These are the standard Counter-Strike 1.6 bots (ZBot): they move around the map, plant and defuse the bomb and buy weapons.
How many bots
The server sets the number. The server admin — including the temporary admin, the first player to join — can change it in game (the ~ key or the “Admin” button): add bots, remove them or leave the game to people only.

Bot servers are tagged “bots up to N” in the server list on the home page. Below are servers with bots right now.

Can I play alone with bots?
Yes. Join a bot server and they fill the teams at once.
Do bots get in the way of real players?
No: bots leave for people — the more players, the fewer bots.
Can the number of bots be changed?
Yes, by the server admin, including the temporary admin — the first player to join the server.
Why are there no bots on some map?
Bots need a navigation mesh. On maps without one they do not join — play another map of the server.
